The Santa Fe Railroad is now a fallen flag. Throughout the years, much can be said about it's contribution to trains and our hobby. The Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club would like to dedicate our sixth car to the spirit of Santa Fe with the REA/Santa Fe Express car. Mail, whether public or private, rode with the passenger trains coast to coast and on freights for the local runs. The REA/Santa Fe Express compliments both passenger and freight trains. The mail can be delivered to your favorite site by placing it over a UCS track and pressing the activation button. The door flies open and the CLRC man, Uncle Herb, tosses the container. It runs on die-cast sprung trucks to minimize breakage of any important mail. This colorful car is pantone green with a red/black/flesh tone Indian and red/white REA logo. The "mail" package is Lionel orange and blue with orange lettering.
