The “City of New Orleans” car takes us back in time when the Southern Railroad ran their unique green colored engines and passenger cars. We designed this fast freight/passenger baggage car with Lionel to match the colors of their new Southern Cresent set. Enjoy the rich green background, creamy green strip and gold accents.

The “City of New York” car offers special handling for passenger and fast freight services bound for New York City. Large gray and white NYC lightning strips on this black car highlight the bold New York Central System logo as it is carrying mail, baggage, and other rush items on passenger or fast freight trains.

The "City of New Haven" car offers special handling for fast freight and special passsenger service bound for New Haven. Large white wing striping on a black background highlights the city's bold orange initials and orange bottom striping. Add this car to your collection/layout! This is a limited edition, so order early!!!

Please join us at one of our Monthly Open Houses held on the 3rd Saturday of the month this fall & winter after our summer break.

Come watch the trains run on our reconfigured modular layout. Interact with over 30 Lionel operating accessories using pushbutton operation. See our huge O-Gauge 3 Track Modular Layout capable of running trains 142 cars long on 143 foot long mainlines with 072 and up curves.
Free popcorn for all. Also available: Hot Dogs, Pizza, and Pop. See timetable (lower left column) for addtional open house dates in Oct. & Nov. Fun for the whole Family. Be sure to visit the gift shop. Have your Lionel Train repaired in our backshop.

1 Hour - $20.00
2 Hours - $35.00
3 Hours - $45.00
Run time may not be used on Open House days. It may be used any of the other times that the clubhouse is open to the membership.
You may run your own train, or for an additional fee use a Club provided locomotive. Additional rolling stock to pull behind your locomotive is available at no extra charge.
We are offering you the opportunity to experience running a train on a large layout without the expense of constructing one. You can run that longer consist, or experience the excitement of running one of the larger locomotives.

The Largest Railroading Event in America is Coming to Michigan in 2009, 7/23 thru 7/26.
The smell of coal smoke and excitement of children of all ages will take over the Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso, Michigan. This quaint American Town is located in the central region of Michigan just outside of Lansing.
Event Attractions - 8 Operating Steam Locomotives, Huge Model Train Layouts, Miniature Railroads and More
TrainFestival 2009 will have at least 8 Steam Locomotives under steam for railroad enthusiasts to ride behind, photograph and enjoy.
Southern Pacific "Daylight" no. 4449 will be attending TrainFestival 2009 from Portland, OR. The 4449 will be traveling thru Chicago the week before and after the Mich. event. It will be on display during the Mich. event for photographs, cab tours and chats with the crew. Aug. 1st on Display in Chicago.
Pere Marquette 2-8-4 Steam Locomotive No.1225 Steam Locomotive is one of the largest operating steam locomotives in the world, this 400-ton steam-powered locomotive will be providing cab tours and train rides throughout the event.
Nickel Plate Road 2-8-4 Steam Locomotive No. 765 is a sister to Pere Marquette No. 1225. Both locomotiveswere built by the Lima Locomotive Works, of Lima, Ohio, in the mid 1940's. Like the 1225, No. 765 will be open for cab tours on Friday and Saturday to talk with the crew.

From all directions:
Take I-80 to US 30, New Lenox, Maple Ave. exit
Turn right/east on US 30 and go 3.5 miles to Schoolhouse Road (Walgreens on corner).
Turn right/south and go 1 mile to street address 21601-27.
Turn right at the Fairfield Industrial Condos sign (Camelot Homes is on top) and go down that road about 200 yards.
Turn Right at the 2nd set of buildings. We are units 3 and 4 (west side).

If you cross railroad tracks on Schoolhouse Rd. you have gone about 300-400 yards too far.
