What's been happening?

The annual CLRC picnic held at the Illinois Live Steamers on June 28th was another huge success. There were 275 registered guests with about 225 of those being CLRC members and their families. The picnic committee wishes to thank all who attended and especially those who volunteered their time to help with the various activities.

Run-meets are still being held at Proksa Park in Berwyn. Those present at the September 15th run-meet were; Herb Koch, John Flinn, Al Laseke, Dan Olech, Charlie Cereghino, John Billone, Ed Rappert, Dan Zimmerman, Norbert Olaska, Richard Klouzer, Glenn Ruesch, Jeff Mills, Lyle Eimen, Wally Sehnert, Henry Pech, and Swav Kojro. In addition there were at least 20 guests who stopped in to see the trains run. The ages of the trains running spanned about 65 years from prewar tinplate to those manufactured in the last year. Thanks to those who brought trains to run for the pleasure of old and young alike.

What's going to be happening?
