Printed copies will continue to be sent to all members through March of this year. After that, only members who do not have a valid e-mail address will receive printed copies of the newsletter. To assist in this transition, please send your current active e-mail address to Al Havlicek at havli_lisle@sbcglobal.net. This will enable us to update any incorrect addresses that we have and add new addresses to our data base.

The Annual CLRC Business Meeting will be held April 14th at 10:00 A.M. at the CLRC clubhouse. Members are encouraged to attend to hear a presentation on the Club’s financial position.

Policy on Minors The CLRC encourages and welcomes the participation of young people under the age of 18, but also recognizes that there can be significant legal liability issues associated with the participation of a minor that is not supervised by a parent or legal guardian. A Policy on Minors was adopted at the March 10th Board Meeting and will be available for viewing and downloading at the CLRC web site.

Regularly Scheduled Run Meets for 2007 Run meets are scheduled for every Saturday throughout the year. The third Saturday of January through May and September though December are also designated as Open House dates for attendance by the general public. In order to make the Club layout more accessible to our members, the following Sunday run dates are being scheduled. April 22nd and May 20TH. The Clubhouse will be open from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on those dates. This is a trial period being used to determine member interest levels in scheduled run meets on a day other than Saturday. If you have suggestions for other days you would like to see the Clubhouse open, send them to Al Havlicek at havli_lisle@sbcglobal.net.

TMCC Circuit Board Modifications We would like to thank member John Billone for his continuing work on developing new circuit boards that will allow the Club’s layout accessories to be controlled by a TMCC controller. John is developing boards that will control smoke, flickering lighting and other functions, including the “On” button. He continues to work on new boards to control other functions.

CLUB CARS – Now is a good time to treat yourself to a special present by ordering those club cars that you’ve had your eye on for some time. Use the handy order form on the back of this newsletter. As a special incentive, anyone who orders with this form and who will pick up the car(s) at the Clubhouse will have all shipping charges waived for the entire order.

E-Bay - The Board has approved a proposal submitted by member Tim Romano to experiment with the sale of Club cars on E-Bay. Under the proposal the cars would be placed on E-Bay for a certain period of time with a set price instead of being subject to an auction. We would like to thank Tim for agreeing to handle this matter.
