FOR OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE CLRC

STATEMENT OF HERB KOCH CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT.

I have been President of the CLRC since its founding and during that time I have tried to make the CLRC a club that all members could enjoy. In its short life the CLRC has grown rapidly and has become recognized as one of the nation's foremost model train clubs. Since the clubs inception we have developed a nationwide membership, been featured on a nationally broadcast television program, been invited to display our layout at national conventions, built a new super-sized layout, and developed a close relationship with Lionel that has benefited us immensely. The most important thing still to accomplish is to find a permanent home. The Board and I have worked tirelessly toward this goal and have explored many options. I promise to continue to make finding a home for the CLRC my top priority. I need your vote to continue to work toward this goal

FOR OFFICE OF TREASURER OF THE CLRC

STATEMENT OF BOB CIOLINO CANDIDATE FOR TREASURER

I have been a member of the CLRC since its beginning. I have served on or been chairman of many committees, such as, Finance, Strategic Planning, Club Car, Picnic, Housing, and others. For the past two years I have served as your treasurer. As a director and officer, I have always been faithful to the club's mission as stated in the by-laws. I have always stayed focused on raising the necessary finances to achieve a permanent home for our club. I an asking for your support and your vote to continue as treasurer and to accomplish the club's missions.

FOR THE DIRECTORS AT LARGE OF THE CLRC

STATEMENT OF LYLE EIMEN CANDIDATE FOR DIRECTOR AT LARGE

I have been a member since the second meeting of the CLRC April 29, 1994. I am a collector who specializes in post-war Lionel from 1946 to 1948 and equipment made by Thomas Industries in the late 50's and early 60's.

At my suggestion, the club's layout is based on specifications used by the Tinplate Trackers in California. I built four of the original layout modules.

In the past I have attended all of the Spring Hill Mall and most charity events. I have participated in all nine Boy Scout Camp-O-Rees helping over a thousand scouts earn their Railroading Merit Badge. Recently I took part in the Blackberry Farm event in Aurora and the Walcamp event in Kingston.

Presently, I am a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and editor of the Prairie State Express.

I see the following as objectives for our club: acquiring new members and a permanent home for the club, continuing the club car program and searching for other revenue-raising ideas, and finding ways to provide more public exposure for the club. Please consider me for director. Thank you.

STATEMENT OF SWAV KOYRO CANDIDATE FOR DIRECTOR AT LARGE

My name is Swav Kojro and I am again looking forward to serving on your Board of Directors for the coming term. As background information, some of you will remember my assistance and guidance with the formation and construction of the club modular layout. More recently, I have hosted club car shipping days conveniently located in my garage. I am also a member of the club car inventory committee. It is in this position as a board member that I am now able to offer help and guidance from a viewpoint slightly outside what I feel is the core of collectors. I am an Operator. My layout has now progressed to one with legs and still takes up most of my living room. As a result, my views and advice are probably more in keeping with the average member and helpful in sustaining a healthy membership.

STATEMENT OF IRWIN BROSS CANDIDATE FOR DIRECTOR AT LARGE

My name is Irwin Bross and I am seeking your vote to continue as a Director of the CLRC. My qualifications for director are my proven track record of dedication and hard work already given to the club since its inception. I have been actively involved in the club since the first meeting at the Chicago Union Station. As a member of the modular layout committee, I built and donated one of the original four corners and, along with my son Nathan, have worked most of the mall and convention shows in which the club participated. As your treasurer since the spring of 1996 through November 2001, I succeeded in computerizing the club's financial records which greatly improved the club's ability to plan and monitor the club's income and expenses.

I have been a self-employed computer software/system designer since 1979, and during that time gained extensive experience running a business. I am a member of the Strategic Planning Committee. I administer the Club Web Site, and I am a member of the Club Car Committee where I program and maintain the Club Car Order and Customer databases.

As your director I will continue to work to hold the line on expenditures, generate more membership and club car revenue, and fulfill our goal of a permanent layout in our own club house.

If you share my vision, please cast your vote for Irwin Bross as director.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE!
